IRS Assessing Penalties!?!

We heard from a few accountants that the IRS is assessing (incorrectly) late tax filing penalties for past years.  Some clients even received an intent to levy a tax notice already.  Don’t ignore this.  While this might be a mistake, you need to fix it.  This will NOT be a phone call but a letter in the mail.  Call your accountant to see how you should act.  You may not want to go this alone.
